Witchery Cauldron brewing conflict [1.7.10]

When these two mods are together, Brewcraft functions entirely normally, but brewing with a witchery cauldron crashes the game when attempting to remove a potion from the cauldron.

Testing using Brewcraft v1.3.3 and Witchery v0.24.1

I have attempted to solve this on my own, but saw no way I could do it, so I'm hoping someone can provide me with feedback and/or advice on how to resolve this.

EDIT: The two mods appear to be less compatible than I thought, as when attempting to fly under the effects of a potion of ascension using the same mod versions, the game crashes again with the following error:
