I have some GeoTiff images created with SASPlanet and sat images
All are correctly placed using Linux version of plugin, self compiled (2.1.1 version)
Some are misplaced with same version plugin in Windows10/64 bit. Misplace is sometime at 0/0 lat/lon, sometime at another coordinate. In only one image there is a small displacement from correct coordinate.

If needed I can provide files misplaced.

Thanks Franco. I am having a look today. Could you attach the files here please.

Attach was done with Thunderbird, without success.
Now directly from Web interface to GitHub as zipped file. TIFF files are not permitted....

Strange. All three files are shown correctly here (Win 8.1, 64 bit). Did you compile the plugin yourself? If so could you try using the installer from Github.

Problem is on my Windows 10/64 bit notebook, using 2.1.1 version of plugin from Github.
I have self compiled plugin only for my Linux desktop.
My notebook is a T200TA from Asus and Windows is upgraded to 1809 version

Latest beta is 2.1.2. Could you try that version? Attached is a geotiff from the Channel Islands which you could try as well. I did a test on a Win 10/64 bit tablet (Linx) yesterday without a problem.

Sorry, that was Win 10/64 bit 1903 version.

Same also with 2.1.2 version, as per attached image (Geotiff image is also deformed).
In your previous message there is no attach for Channel Island geotiff

You may have seen this?
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/asus-t200-ta-after-win-10-64bit-ver-1803-update/5fba244a-79ed-48f5-8fc0-da65cf40cf26
Is it a graphics driver problem? Is the 1709 Windows version any use? If PhotoLayer has low priority and everything else is ok you may have to abandon this plugin.

Same mistake. Needed a zip!

I have seen the problem with windows 10 update but my t200 is working without problem after 1803 update. And many other geotiff images are working with Photolayer plugin. Also your Jersey.tif image.
1803 version of windows is the last installed on my T200. No possibility to return to a previous version. For upgrading to 1803 version I have wiped out all previous version!
Asus T200 have only 32 Gb of EMMC storage and now there is no possibility to upgrade to any other version.

Does changing the resolution of the display make a difference? PhotoLayer will not work properly without OpenGL but as a test perhaps switch off OpenGL for OpenCPN and see if the tif is located in a better place.
I think we are getting into graphics driver issues with this one. And this stuff gets too difficult for me!

No difference in image position. Obviously without OpenGL no transparency.

I will investigate on graphic card driver, an Intel HD Graphics.
I have SOCPackage from Asus (year 2016) for windows 10/64 bit (not anymore on Asus support site).
Do you think I need to install this?

It could work but I would make a restore point in case it failed. I don't want to encourage you to break a working system.

From Intel support site there is a new driver for video card in Atom Z3795 (T200TAC processor).
Using Intel support program I have downloaded and installed latest driver. After a reboot I restarted OpenCPN but no change in Photolayer incorrect coordinate display

This is strange. I will have another look but nothing is obvious. Give us a day or two and I will get back to you.
