Final smallish issues affecting the Harvey storyline (hotspot Houston area)

  • Hotspot should be called Texas and Louisiana
  • Banners are all missing
  • Title should be consistent (scope page displays different 'storyline title')
  • Map on 'connection' section page is too zoomed out.
  • Opacity EU-impact/comparison maps should be higher
  • Climate scenarios and comparison display all legends and layers on map, not limited to the initial default selection
  • Initially, the 1-degree warming level in the bar chart on the comparison page is highlighted but, the buttons say the zero-degree scenario is selected.
  • Socio-economic scenarios are absent in this storyline, yet there is a section button (I know this one violates the very definition of the sections)
  • Replace data with new data provided by R. Middelanis.
  • Comment: Ribbon 'EU Impact' and 'Comparison': I find the color scheme very confusing. For example, blue can mean both positive and negative values. I would opt for one color meaning positive and another meaning negative values. Also, the very low value for Texas is not really distinguishable here.
  • Comment: Ribbon 'Climate Scenarios': The relationship between temperature increase and precipitation increase is delta_p = (1.19^delta_t) - 1 with delta_t the temperature increase and delta_p the precipitation increase. Thus, it shold range roughly between [0, 2] for delta_t in [0, 4].

This is no longer an issue since we moved from fixed section buttons to section-colored page buttons
