The vanilla Charges system allows for manual editing, but doesn't work with weapons if you want to maintain the Attack feature. The current "Magic Items" module allows the use of the Attack feature in addition to the feats/spells, but the item can only recharge based on the passage of time/rests.
I'm trying to use this feature to create a weapon that can accept and supply sorcery points and undesignated spell slots, in addition to acting normally. Having to edit the weapon to put in charges (since it is not a "recharging" at dawn/daily/etc.) is a bit of a hassle.
Alternatively, a "Charging" type of "Manual" would also be a useful way to implement this request, and could open up thematic charging methods, such as "must be dipped in Holy Water."

I confirmed that adding charges to the feat within the "Magic Item" does not fix this issue since the "Magic Item" feature does not use the feat charges.
