Hi Proton team! I love your products, and I have been using Proton Pass as my main password manager. I think it would be great to distribute Proton Pass with snap for the Linux community.
I would be happy to build a snap file (I already have a repository that can build the snap locally), register the name in the Snap Store, etc. My goal is to get the repository into the snapcrafters organization, so that it is published by a trustworthy community. Let me know what you all think! 😁
EDIT: if, for any reason, you wish to take up the snap at a later time, there is a process to transfer ownership to Proton.

If you guys decide to go ahead and allow me and (ideally) the snapcrafters community to help with the distribution of your application, I'd be more than happy to help package and distribute the other web apps (ie Proton Mail) as snaps.
EDIT: I actually started my work on snapping Proton Mail too, see this repository.

I've created the snaps, and they are currently being tested as beta releases on snapcraft. You can see the listings at snapcraft.io/proton-mail and snapcraft.io/proton-pass. I will be working on improving the listings' descriptions and content. Let me know if you have any comments, questions, concerns, etc.
