When there are new notes available, it'd be great for them to be loaded in background and allow me to scroll through them in chronological order.

Motivation

At the moment, there doesn't seem to be a way to read new notes in chronological order. I can tap the "20 new notes" button but that takes me to the top of the timeline and I have to scroll backwards. I can instead swipe down to load the new notes but that leads to the same result. 😕

Sometimes, the app behaves the way I'd expect but I haven't yet figured out what triggers it.
