Hello,

Would this be possible? If so, how do you actually use the program? I can't see any example code and I am getting pretty confused. Thanks for your time!

The tool is drag'n'drop cli.

There is a feature to convert hkx to it's xml counterpart. It should be easy to add it to toolset. But I would need to verify it's validity, because it was long time since I've last seen the codebase.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

At the moment, we have downloaded the tool folder, opened CMD, dropped the exe in and then dropped our HKX in and pressed enter. We have also dropped the HKX onto the exe. Both don't do anything, but we pretty sure we are not using the tool correctly either, is there a specific code we need to type? Something like "havok_tool.exe unwrap .hkx filename.xml" as a bad example?

There is another havok tool called tagtools that is a drag n drop tool which converts hkx to xml but to version 2012. Your tool sounds extremely promising so we are on the edge of our seats if we can get these 2015 havok files to 2014. I have linked to a 2015 hkx file - https://mega.nz/file/uRhXXSBJ#ZOdHsetVom11fkMXvTDl3Up2hiYtXH1WktFM2nKo260

We aren't sure how we can help, but if we can, please let us know! Thanks again for your time.

You only need to drop hkx onto cmd file, for the future references

Thank you - I can see we need Spike installed as it is saying it cannot find the spike exe. I've found the link to Spike releases, though where do we now put these files? We can't find the spike_exec in the release though actually, so do we even have the correct Spike download?

'spike_exec-NOTFOUND' is our error in cmd.

Edit: We managed to get a glb file of a skeleton, though we are trying to get the xmls mostly so we can rebuild them as hkx files.

Apologies for the trouble!

spike_exec-NOTFOUND' is some old weird bug, just rename it to havok_toolset.

Sorry but we are having a lot of issues.

We have downloaded the havoklib release which is already named havok_toolset. We have downloaded spike but that has no exe or other related file to rename.

Dropping our hkx onto the CMD of the hk to gtlf cmd file results in a blank config file. Using CMD to do it results in it asking for the spike exe. We also ended up with a glb file somehow.

What are we doing wrong? Can we ask for specific instructions on what files we require/need to do in order to attempt getting the 2015 hkx into 2014 xmls?

Thanks again for your patience
