Support of the on-premise environments

Can we support on-premise environments?

On-premise environments (both 9.0 and 9.1) with enabled OAuth should work as an extension already support same concept.

I understand the complexity of trying to support legacy, but it could be helpful to many developers who are stuck with on-prem.
Let me know if there is any other option to connect to on-prem or if any internal decisions are made about this.
