I'm not encountering this error. I'm pressing the print button and saving the document as a pdf. I'm using Windows. Are you doing the same @MaxGhenis?

I was unable to reproduce with Chrome on MacOS using the print dialog -> save as PDF.

Also, interesting note, Safari's "export to PDF" is far, far better than Firefox or Chrome's print to PDF, basically just rendering the whole webpage as a PDF.

@MaxGhenis Did you use the print -> save as PDF method? If not, it'd be great to know more about how you ran into this. If so...maybe if you tried reproducing on your local machine? I can't think of anything else.

Ah it seems to only occur for zoom levels of 125% or more

That is quite strange. This sounds like it might be non-op from our end, but feel free to say if you feel differently.

More broadly, we should look into simplifying this by adding a button to generate a PDF for the user, which could then strip out the toolbars on the left and right and print something that looks more article-like.
