I'm getting a different message from #10 entirely; a System.IndexOutOfRangeException error.

I'm using what should be the very first file for Katrielle and I've seen others open it just fine, but whenever I click "Open As Model", this is what comes up.

I've provided the .xc file in question if that might help. I've had the same issue with all the other files and they were all extracted with Karameru v1.0.14.

Do you think you would be able to get a working file that you've seen others use to open Katrielle. It sounds like if you can't open it personally there might be a problem with the file and not a problem with the program.

I would say so, but this happened more than once with about 3 different roms for the same game. Unless I'm not getting a functional rom or extracted each of them incorrectly, I'm kind of at a loss.

I'll try it with other games and see how that goes, and keep you guys updated.

Thanks! If you're able to talk with others who have succeeded with their files and get a copy of theirs that might help.

@MissComical I've looked at the file and it's got .mtn2 files within it. From my experience, if an .xc has .mtn2 files within it, it's considered to be full of animations.

An example of an .xc that can be imported as a model would include files like:

  • .atr
  • .cmn
  • .mbn
  • .mtr
  • .prm
  • .sil
  • .txp
  • .xi

Is there a chance that you have any .xc files that contain some of the file types that I've listed above?

It still shouldn't throw an error and I'll look into it a little more.
