Description of feature

The entrez IDs are super useful in RNASeq/enrichment analyses and would save us a lot of work if its done in the annotation step. This feature could help link our pipelines (genepal, rnaseq, fairGenomes) into a nice system. Can we have this feature added please?

A couple of questions,

  • What is a Entrez ID? Can you please provide an example?
  • Is this feature not already covered by eggnog mapper? Can you please look at the results/*/*.emapper.annotations and results/*/*.emapper.seed_orthologs, etc. for reference?
