ElDewrito-Multi-Instance

A simplified overhaul of Halo Online Split Screen for ElDewrito 0.6.

The current release allows anyone to easily manage multiple instance of ElDewrito versions 0.6.0.0 - 0.6.1.0.

Run up to eight games at once.

Simply drop the executable in your Halo Online folder and run it.

All player customization is now done in game, and in order to play locally, the first instance that launches must host the lobby. The biggest new feature in this release is the ability to run up to eight instances of the game at once if your PC can handle it.

Installation and use in ten easy steps:

The following instructions are for those interested in easily running multiple instances of Eldewrito at once. This is crucial for those wishing to play with their friends without other computers nearby. By following these simple steps, you'll be playing with your friends in only approximately five minutes!

Before installing Eldewrito Multi Instance, please make sure you running an OS that is compatible with Eldewrito and that you already have the game files for Eldewrito (versions 0.6 and above).

1. Download the executable file of the newest release

2. Simply place the file in your Eldewrito installation directory.

3. Run the file, and you will notice that it will either use yours or create a new preferences file depending on whether or not you've played the game yet. (If Windows warns you of a virus, simply select 'More info' and then 'Run anyway')

4. For additional players, simply click the 'Add Profile' button to create a new preferences file for their specified username.

5. Check the checkboxes next to the usernames of the players that wish to play.

6. Set profile-specific settings like window resolution for each profile.

7. Change the order of which players' instances will launch if necessary using the 'Move up' and 'Move down' buttons.

8. Set universal settings (Fullscreen supports multiple displays)

9. Click launch! (Move windows apart from one another if necessary)

10. Congratulate yourself! It's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy some Eldewrito with friends on one computer!

Help with common issues/questions:

If your PC warns against running Eldewrito Multi Instance, simply select 'More info' and then 'Run anyway'.

If your instances aren't loading at your specified resolution, you must set up a new custom resolution in either Nvidia control panel or AMD's equivalent application before playing.

To avoid confusion, the 'Kb / m controls P1' checkbox determines whether or not the first player in the launch order launches with keyboard and mouse controls by default.
