We need to run over 2016 ReReco data. Will run with pandaf/014 first, so we should just need a config file.

Global tag used in production (94X_dataRun2_v10; https://cmsweb.cern.ch/das/request?instance=prod/global&input=config+dataset%3D%2FSinglePhoton%2FRun2016B-17Jul2018_ver2-v1%2FMINIAOD) is the latest listed in the JEC twiki (https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMS/JECDataMC#2016_Data) so we don't need to redo JEC.

And the global tag used in NANOAOD production (10_2) is 102X_mcRun2_asymptotic_v6 (https://cmsweb.cern.ch/couchdb/reqmgr_config_cache/5c1bdfa608815a091b2eec0b05b2d316/configFile). We should be able to use this tag in 014.

Okay, thanks! I should be able to run that tag through Jenkins quick. But I won't touch anything else.

Actually, that's an MC tag, right? Should I use the 102X_dataRun2_nanoAOD_2016_v1 tag?

Ah yes you are right. Yeah 102X_dataRun2_nanoAOD_2016_v1 should be it.

So when just changing that tag, QGL changes a lot old vs new, but the Puppi Jets change a lot too. Those definitely look worse.

One can browse old and new and compare the puppiAK4Jets variables.
