Code next steps:

• Code continues to need better documentation and diagnostics. For example, when we compute the combined dataset, what is it exactly? Describe in a comment.
• I have put a band-aid on the overlap problem, but the better long-term solution is to change similar_days so it uses dates, not days of year. You can assign this to me if you'd like

Science next steps:

• Sometimes Js is higher on sunny days, and Rs is lower, but not always. Is there a factor that accounts for the difference? For example, temperature or moisture?
