Open image options do not appear #99

Situation: I want to open a sprite sheet as sprite sheet.

I do:
File → Open → selecting a file → file is being open as a file

I expect:
File → Open → selecting a file → file opening options are shown → I choose to open it as a sheet → file is being open as a sheet

As a workaround, options do show up if I attempt to open the same file twice.

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04, xorg, unity7.

Please fix.
