At the moment, the context service on windows, polls every 30 seconds for changes in the context files. Compared to the Linux counterpart which triggers when the ISO is re-attached, this is a suboptimal method.

Proposal

  • Hook the context service on Windows to check for changes on ISO re-attach. Similar to when Windows notifies when a flash drive is inserted.
