Be able to hide or resize the cross hair when recording using the pen. (Camtasia Studio allow the icon to be resized or completely hidden. A paid product I know but it is a great feature.)

Have you seen the feature request template provided? You can still edit your issue and fill it out to create a proper feature request. It would be good to spent some sentences on each point to argue why you need this and how the solution could look like. And you could also shorten the title. The part in parentheses is not worth to be part of a title.
