Can’t get shutdown command working

Using Kodi on Xbox and the Kodi shutdown command is the only command I cannot get to work. Is the command for quit/exit (like on the Kodi power menu) the same command? If not, how can it be added?

how does the kodi power menu look on a xbox? has it just a quit/exit option or does it also have a "shutdown" option?
if the xbox version of kodi does not have a shutdown option, we currently cannot exit kodi via google home kodi let me check if there is a way to quit kodi instead via kodi api
