We initially added the binary resource data from ICU4J into our repository. This was quick to get started, but it was clear that it would not scale by importing ~20MB of data to our repository on every minor release.

We have more recently changed the build script to download the ICU4N .jar files and extract the resources from them to build satellite assemblies. This means that the resource files in our repository are redundant and can be removed.

The resource files are located at:
