I am trying to run the ww3 6.07 with a global run and then a nest around the Mediterranean region. It appears as the though the boundaries are passing ok but when I copy the nest over and run the medplus region with the ww3_shel I the model crashes yielding this message:
*** WAVEWATCH III ERROR IN W3IOBC :

When I had none instead of SMPL for both global and med runs I had a successful run of the ww3 model in the nest but the problem here is I had problem with excluded points along the east and west boundaries which I did not want. How can I obtain a successful run of the ww3 v6.07 with the global run and Meditteranean nest when I have SMPL used or I do not have excluded points along the east west boundaries? I had these same boundaries working in ww3 v3.14, so why can they not work with ww3 v6.07? How do I tweak the ww3_grid files to ensure I do not have excluded points on the east and west boundaries of the global and Mediterannean but can get the boundary conditions to pass through successfully do I can get a successful run of the Mediteranean nest?
Attached are my ww3_grid files, the ww3_shel file and the ww3_prep file.
