Error with ww3_multi while using ww3_prnc

Dear all,
I am trying to run ww3_multi for two domains (coarser and finer near the coast) with one wind input file (.nc) for both domains. However, when I submit the run command it processes all the files except the wind input which is .nc format.
I have run the ww3_prnc file separately to check for errors and it runs successfully. But when I try to run it using the shell script with run_test it does not process the file. After processing ww3_strt it directly processes ww3_multi with no output and no error message. The log file generated also doesn't give any error message.
