FLT2000 dmax = 60 (f.e30_alpha04a.FLT2000BgcCrop.dmax60.lmwg_dev_79) #79
Comments
did we do this one wrong, @slevis-lmwg ? Looks like the dmax60 run decreased annual LH fluxes, which increased FSDS over much of the mid-latitudes during summer |
I changed d_max from 15 (default value in ctsm60_params.c240822.nc) to 60 in I have not looked at this section of code before. It seems that higher d_max would increase dsl, which would increase soilresis and (I'm assuming) decrease FGEV (which is what we see). FCTR and FCEV have increased some but not enough to compensate. @wwieder let me know if you would like me to try a different d_max value. |
I think that was maybe my fault in that I incorrectly stated that an
increase in d_max would increase ET. I would try reducing d_max from the
default and try again.

if I'm reading this correctly. FCTR and FCEV have increased some but not

@wwieder <https://github.com/wwieder> let me know if you would like me to
try a different d_max value.
