Memory error #8
Comments
Perhaps we can downsample the S01E01-S01E06 run videos. S01E07-S02E01 are pretty small compared to the early episodes, so if we can get the resolution from those and use that resolution for the older, high-res ones, then maybe that can fix it.... |
I'm reprocessing all stimuli to have a width of 720 pixels so hopefully that will help. |
The reprocessing decreased file size substantially (e.g., a 2.1G clip went down to 662M). We'll have to try it out at the scanner to make sure it works though. |
Same problem. Full clip runs successfully but then at the end a black screen stays up instead of moving to the fixation and after a while a memory error occurs. EDIT: Not sure if the version run on the smaller video files is a memory error. Seems to be a problem with the size setting that I was doing. |
It looks like this was the result of trying to present a frame after the end of the video. 0d5758c should deal with this. |
I was sure I'd fixed it, but it recently failed again on the stimulus computer in the exact same way. |
Which runs it fails on seem to be completely random. One day it fails on runs 1, 2, 3, and 4 (of 6) and the next it only fails on 4 (with the same stimuli!). |
We got a memory error when running the task on the stim PC.
