I downloaded iBioSim and followed the directions for the MacOS installation. When I execute the iBioSim in the top directory I get a warning message that says "Problems with External Components" (see image in Doc attached). This warning seems to only affect iBioSim when trying to access the LCP SynBioHub registry. When I try to access this registry by logging in I get a Login Failure: "Operation timed out" (see image in Doc attached).
Note: This does not happen when I sign in to SynBioHub to access my own repositories or the other registries in SynBioHub in iBioSim.
Is there a fix to this issue or has this occurred before?
You can ignore the warnings. While it would be nice to have reb2sac working, there are Java simulators that you can select to use instead. GeneNet is not needed.
Unfortunately, synbiohub.programmingbiology.org is permanently down. You will not be able to do the parts of the tutorial that access this. However, these are not necessary for the assignment.
