Many supposedly accessioned Fungarium Records have Accession Numbers that have no hits in MyCoPortal.
Some causes:
It's actually in the User's personal fungarium; the \ User didn't notice the Fungarium name when creating the record.
The Accession Number is an incomplete match to the MCP record. Typically it omits a prefix actually used in the MCP record, or includes a prefix (typically the herbarium abbreviation) which is not in the MCP records.
The Accession Number is phony. It's a collection number, MO id, or something else the user typed. We urge people to do this, maybe so that the Fungarium Records can be found by a Pattern Search.
The number is real, but the Fungarium hasn't updated its records.
