Currently using MacBook Air with Studio Display. When desktop focus is on the Studio Display, the menu icon doesn't fade on my MacBook Air display like all the other icons (battery, wifi, Control Center, etc.). This happens when it's the reverse, with the MacBook Air display having focus.
Perhaps this is by design.

I can replicate this. Wonder how applications handle this dimming, I see some third-party menu icons fading, and some others don't.
