There are 2 major issues for Linux users on 0.160:
Linux users experience a lot of slowdown (~50% emulation) when they join as a client and are thus forced to always be the host for optimal online performance.
Joining a Linux user hosting some console systems (EG: snes) may freeze the emulator. Results are inconsistent and seem to happen with certain users only. Possibly an nvram transfer issue? More testing needed.
