When there are many armor combinations that reach the same tiers, it would be helpful to be able to limit armor results to only those already used in existing loadouts or to those already in inventory to see if a new loadout can be created by only reordering and remodding existing armor pieces.
This is especially helpful if you have several exotics in a single slot (like arm exotics on Titan) on your character for example, and only have room in character inventory for a handful of legendary arm pieces to combine with, say, an exotic chest armor. There may not be enough room in inventory to have a separate legendary arm piece for every loadout when there are many exotics already present, so the ability to force a limit on which arm pieces can be considered is helpful in this scenario as well.
