Decreased CPU power usage by modifying CPUFriendDataProvider.kext. Power usage on idle decreased by 7W and will last longer on lower battery percentages.

macOS 14.0 Hibernation and instant wake update

Changed made:

-Misc\showpicker = false
-Misc\skippickeronhibernate = true

-Removed igfxonln=1 boot arg to fix instant wake issue, max time is 2 seconds to wake up
-Darkwake=0 to make hibernation mode work

Notes: Set hibernate mode to 3 to make hibernate mode work. Set hibernate threshold which is the battery percentage above or below which standby mode low or high is used. Set standby to one using pmset command to get hibernate to work. For more info, go to the terminal and type 'man pmset' for more info.

Also, remember to change the NVRAM section back to the previous efi's or create a new one using Gensmbios and inject using propertree.

AMFI and permissions fix

This release fixes the issue where applications permissions did not show up in the settings menu due to AMFI being disabled. This has been fixed along with a better CPUFriend.kext that is well power managed. (getting +1 hr than before). Also, please change the NVRAM section of the config.plist to match you previous EFI to prevent appleid issues.

Also: Disabled thunderbolt port on my end to get more battery life out of my machine. Using the main usb type-C as my data and TB port as my charger under workloads.

Sonoma Final Release

Updated to Sonoma 14.0 with proper sleep wake + touchscreen support(fixed).

Updates:

Updated VoodooPS2 kext to latest to fix touchscreen issues
Updated all kexts to latest version
Added AMFI-Pass kext to get software updates

What's New:
AirPods switching is faster(Broadcom card legacy patched for WiFi)
Widgets on desktop are smooth

Sonoma P5 D7 Beta support

This release adds support for MacOS Sonoma Public Beta 5 and Developer Beta 7 on the T480 with fully functional thunderbolt. This zipped file includes the EFI partition with older kexts for working Wi-Fi. You can download OCLP from the link below. Post install root patching is needed to add the frameworks of the older card to the OS so that it works. This EFI might have a problem with sleep on the T480 but unable to blame the EFI as Sonoma is still in beta. Thunderbolt shows up as 40Gbps in system information and is getting amazing speeds when tested. If there are any issues, please do add it in the discussion of this release or create an issue based on the same mentioning the issue with this certain EFI on Sonoma Public Beta 5.

Opencore 0.9.4 Upgrade and Kext Updates

Upgraded all kexts to the latest version to minimise bugs in the system and upgraded OpenCore for future stability. No issues until now but still keeping this as a Pre-Release. Enjoy!

T480 Ventura Broadcom Touchscreen

Yes I finally got an upgrade. The touchscreen of the T480 is now working with MacOS alongside the trackpoint and the trackpad with everything working. I hope this EFI can be useful for all if you. IF any of you need more information please do comment on the discussion below.

Macos Ventura stable hopefully with sleep fixed

BROADCOM EFI

Removed darkwaking in the NVRAM section of the config.plist file which may have been causing issues with waking from sleep where the trackpad might not work or the screen might go black. If there are any post issues please do give me feedback here or on my discord @yashxavier. For continuity and handoff features on broadcom, if they are not working please add valid MLB and ROM using ProperTree generated by GenSMBIOS. This will also get imessage and facetime working

MacOS Ventura Support (Airport Broadcom)

Finally MacOS Ventura. I currently have a native braodcom card which means i dont need any extra kexts. For intel you would need airportitlwm or itlwm with the heliport client. For a non native broadcom card please install the necessary kexts.

If someone can please do test this on the latest version as im unable to currently due to the high usage of my hackintosh. If updating breaks it then my whole workflow will be destroyed

Macos Monterey Support

Thanks to dursonATWIT https://github.com/dursonATWIT I was able to get Monterey working for my laptop. Currently, i was NOT able to load YogaSMC.kext into the EFI. If anyone can help me, it would be great. Making a discussion for the same. Trackpad still has issues

Issues:
The power button is blinking indicating sleep while the laptop is up and running
Not able to load up YogaSMC so brightness keys dont work for now. Not wanting to use a client such as Thinkpad assistant as its just better to have a kext.
