We need to change the selector to use "CoreHome.SiteSelector" as mentioned here

Is there any time hoirzont, when or if this issue will be fixed?

Hello, sry, haven't time to check this. There is however a workaround by editing the url with the siteId you want to change. ie: index.php?module=GroupPermissions&action=index&idSite=hereMySideID&period=day&date=today

next release is planned for middle of may and will include a fix for this issue
