Aparentemente o Pronterface abre o arquivo STL, passa ele pro fatiador, que devolve um arquivo GCODE que é consumido pelo Pronterface e o nome dos arquivos (tanto STL quanto GCODE) é esquecido (ou pelo menos não é exibido para o usuário na interface gráfica).
