I wrote the original README in English as it is my strongest language. Ideally we would have a README in other languages, as well. I created a placeholder for Spanish for now, but even as I get it translated and corrected by native speakers, they may be issues with difference language versions becoming out of sync with one another as updates are implemented. This will require ongoing maintenance, and/or nice ideas for how to manage this issue

(can something like ChatGPT be used to compare two texts and see if there are semantic differences...?)
