Description
When I select a Feature that only has a Save (and not a damage rider), ie. The Lion's 'Roar' or Giant Spider's 'Web' from PHB24, the chat card appears 'off screen' and the chat window must be manually scrolled down to see it. This doesn't happen on any activity that has a damage roll of any sort.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ensure chat window is currently not empty
  2. Click on a Feature that has a Save but no damage (ie. Lion's Roar or Giant Spiders Web)
  3. Chat window doesn't scroll, and the Feature chat card is hidden off the bottom of the chat screen.
  4. Scrolling the Chat manually (or triggering a new ability that does have damage), reveals the card.
  5. Note: It sometimes seems to work on the very first attempt after a new login. But any subsequent attempts do not work.

Versions

  • Module: [3.53]
  • dnd5e: [4.04]
  • Foundry: [12.331]

Other Modules
The only Modules enabled are the PHB24 and Ready Set Roll

I'm not able to reproduce this issue on my end. Rolling activities with only a save and nothing else still scrolls the chat bar appropriately to the bottom. Can you provide more detail such as screenshots or better yet a recording of this happening for you?

Here's a video. I click the attack buttons a few times to fill up the bar. Then click the Roar, which doesn't show up unless I scroll down manually. It seems to happen with all non-damage abilities (not just the Lion).

Note, that if I modify the non-damage activity to include damage (ie. adding even a single point of damage to Roar), then it works. Something about having the damage section seems to trigger the scrolling (at least from my outside perspective.)

It's not a huge deal, but it was weird enough I thought I should mention it. If no one else is experiencing it, it may just be some weird fluke of my own.

@Gallumph can you export the Lion for me and send it here so I can test with your exact activity, sometimes it's some odd discrepancy in the item that causes problems

Here you go. It's not just the lion though, I've also tested it with Giant Spider's Web. It also happens on any non-damage ability (ie. The Cleric Cantrip Thaumaturgy).

Here's showing it happening on the premade cleric that comes with PHB24:
