Errors: file-error about tar files in the MELPA repository - Bad Request

I'm running the latest paradox on Emacs 26.1 in a WSL (windows subsystem linux).
For all the packages marked to be updated I receive error messages similar to the followings in the Paradox Report buffer:

Package transaction finished. Sat 06 Feb 2021 01:53:37 PM CET
Errors:
(file-error https://melpa.org/packages/w3m-20210201.2305.tar Bad Request)

There has been no problem while I use only the list-packages function to update the packages.
