Thanks for bringing this over from Discord so it's not lost. This needs to be addressed in the installation manual.

I should note, R5A8 is unpopulated on 1.4 motherboards, so this is exclusive to 1.2/1.3 as far as I know.

Looks like you're talking about R4A4 and it connects FSADJUST to GND via a resistor, as per the Conexant datasheet. What would be interesting to know is if it's still needed.

Full-scale adjust control pin. A resistor (RSET) connected between this pin and GND controls the full-scale output current on the analog outputs.

I don't see anything that would suggest it could affect CLK timings, so it might be worth testing with it removed to see if that's a viable option instead of adjusting the flex for future runs.
