esp-idf mqtt client variable

hey,
i guess my understanding of variable travel between callback function, event handlers and such is a bit low.

i want to make a mqtt start function that will fire once and keep the subscribe alive.
the wifi will be connected the whole time.
and last, i want to fire every X seconds a massege via MQTT.

the conclusion i came up that i need to send the client \ event data...

any suggestions? i dont know how to approch... i need a lead please.

oh, and send a queue from main app task :\
