Limitations:

  • The notebook goes offline after 30 mins of being idle
  • The solution is to run a JavaScript command. However, such a hack might be overwhelming for non-technical users.
  • The size life per file is 10 GB in the Dataverese UI. However, here we need the size of the user's Gdrive space, which is nuclear at the beginning f the process.
  • The uploading time is just too long
  • Probably, the notebook can be used for communicating with the API instead of being marketed as a "big files" solution

One option can be that the Jr Data Engineer develops a simple UI with the new PySript + HTML + Markdown.

An alternative could be that we take the whole environment outside Collaboratory, and we just do a stand-alone notebook, and in the tutorial, we show how to download Anaconda.
