CPT codes for MIMIC III

Hi, so I was wondering if we know when the CPT codes were collected in the MIMIC-III dataset. CPT codes are used for insurance billing and are frequently rejected and down-graded based on the robustness of the doctor's notes. Given this, I was wondering if the CPT codes are the first recorded ones or if they were updated as they got rejected. i.e. I was wondering if it were known if option a or option b stands true.

Option A: Initially recorded CPT code gets rejected. CPT code is downgraded. The CPT code in MIMIC is the downgraded CPT code
Option B: Initially recorded CPT code gets rejected. CPT code is downgraded. The CPT code in MIMIC is the original CPT code.

Any insights would be helpful.
