  • inverse of it's always a design problem
  • instead of calling yourself stupid when something is hard, ask why
  • might be:
    • you took the wrong turn
    • you don't have the prerequisite knowledge
    • you may be having a rough day
    • the learning material you have sucks
    • the tool may be immature
    • the tool may have legacy debt
    • there may be domain complexity that you don't grok
    • they may not have realized this is problem
  • beginner eyes are invaluable
  • seriously, file issues!
