Hi Dominik Thanks for the info. I'll look out for the next major release. Kind regards Nathan |
It's probably because you are using microsoft account. You can work around this and add another user to multiotp by the local login name (nathan) and use it on the lock screen (as I do). Btw. to add user from the microsoft account you have to configure multiotp with mysql and use login pattern: "microsoft:[email protected]" that ":" sign will generate error if you try to use it with backend_type=file. Another thing - when using SSL on RDP the credential provider does not work:( I would like to use it only with RDP :D |
Hello, Please note that we have enhanced this MultiOneTimePassword-CredentialProvider thanks to various contributors, and it's now available in the multiOTP project (https://github.com/multiOTP/multiOTPCredentialProvider). We will do enhancements in this fork. Regards, |
Hi
I'm using MOTP-CP. All works fine when you start the computer and you can insert the full name + password + otp which allows access. However, when you try to un-lock the computer via ctrl+alt+del after it has been locked (not restarted) the username is pre-populated. In my case it just says Nathan which is not the full username. The actual login when the computer starts is [email protected]. So in short when the desktop is locked and you don’t get the option to fill in the username part & thus it fails the authentication.
I'm using release 2.2.1. Any help would be appreciated.
This is not a windows domain PC. I'm running this unit separate to the main domain. It has motp installed locally on it. the login username is a MS livedomain email account.
Thanks
Nathan
