Wallet app throws AutoUpdater error when it is first opened

Description

When you first open the Wallet app it throws an error before you even enter the password. If you acknowledge the error by clicking OK you can then enter the password and the app begins fetching the latest data from the block-chain but never finishes. Eventually a second AutoUpdater error is thrown.
If you acknowledge the second error appears to be downloading data until the error appears again and then you are in a loop. I kept this process up for days but without success

I CAN'T ACCESS THE FUNDS IN MY WALLET

Expected Behavior

I should be able to log into the wallet app and access my funds

Actual Behavior

as per the description above

Possible Fix

No idea but it appears to be an issue with Javascript and the AutoUpdateer

Steps to Reproduce

    1. Open wallet app
    1. error appears after a few seconds

Context

I can't open my wallet app, so I can't access my funds

Your Environment

  • Zap version: 0.7.2-beta
  • Operating System and version: M1 device Mac Ventura 13.4
