@taoning In the past week I have failed twice to compile Radiance on Windows machines. Here is the latest attempt:
While I guess this is a trivial issue on Linux/Mac expecting the compilation dependencies on Windows machines is probably too much of an ask. Guiding a potential user through the process of installing Visual Studio, C++ compilers etc. is much more of a headache than just pointing them to pre-compiled binaries (as also discussed previously here: #21).

should work straight away on windows, correct? This is only for local development, not regular use?
@taoning You are right and I just checked on the two machines where it was failing (pip works straightaway). So this is a local development issue only. I will figure out a solution for those machines. Closing this now as the "bug" isn't really relevant.
