We don't have the sources of the drawings so I think it would need the spikes texture to be redone. Else, we could just scale down the spikes, what would be lost in the impression of greatness and clarification would probably be won in term of dynamism and looking.
I might have some of the sources somewhere, but they are just giant (it was
around 10gb) so if you need specific ones, i could attempt to look for them

To be fair, these levels were demos of potential gameplay and the art used in them is not the expected final quality. I think the spike sprite was upscaled just to test how a big spike would be like :)
The spike rigidbodies in 1-7 need larger textures so the textures won't have to be scaled up, and they sometimes get stuck on the floor at one place.
One of the spikes always gets stuck there and then rotates forever.
