Describe your suggested feature

I use double page layout frequently, and often have to use the shift feature in order to display the cover on its own and the rest of the pages in correct double spreads. However, when I leave the chapter and return the page layout is reverted to the original and I have to remember to shift the pages again. It would be a minor but nice quality of life feature if the reader could remember the page shift.

Acknowledgements

  • I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open issue.
  • I have written a short but informative title.
  • If this is an request for a feature in the original Tachiyomi, I am opening because multiple versions of TachiyomiJ2K have been released without this feature.
  • If this is an issue with an extension, or a request for an extension, I should be opening an issue in the extensions repository.
  • I have updated the app to version 1.7.4.
  • I have checked through the app settings for my feature.
  • I have admitted that I am a clown by having checked this box, as I have not read these acknowledgements.
  • I will fill out all of the requested information in this form.
