Waiting for the first "approval" transaction to complete is a pain

When the page is closed before the first transaction is mined, the second transaction is never prompted, meaning no vote happens.

If there is a way to queue up and "approve" in Metamask the two transactions at once, so that the first transaction will complete before the second, that would be optimal.
