Liveliness Staking Guide

Users can earn staking rewards for the Combined Liveliness (bonded ITHEUM) on all their Data NFTs. All Data NFTs are a fixed "minimum bond", to maximize your staking rewards you can also have a NFMe.ID Vault Data NFT, a special Data NFT that can be topped up. Let's explore.

In the below sections we will dive into:

  1. Minting an NFMe.ID Vault: A user simply mints their NFMe vault. Users can mint multiple NFMe.id Vaults
  2. Minting a data NFT and setting it as the primary.
  3. Claiming rewards from bonding.

I. Mint an NFMe.id Vault

In this section we will cover minting of a NFMe.id Vault. Please follow the below instructions:

  1. Navigate to the minting page

  2. Click on "Mint Data NFT" and go through the minting steps as mentioned here.

  3. Once the NFMe.id Vault is minted you will see the below in the Liveliness page. Your newly minted NFMe.ID will be set as your Primary Data NFT.

  4. Next we will topup the Primary NFMe.ID Vault Data NFT

  5. Enter the amount of ITHEUM you wish to add to the bond of the Data NFT, you will see the estimated rewards update accordingly.. Click on Top-Up Now. Once you Top-Up you will see that the bond Time period would have been renewed. Additionally you will be claiming the rewards accrued until the point of the Top-Up.

  6. You can review your revised APR and Combined Bonds Staked.

II. Mint a Data NFT and set as primary.

In this section we will cover minting of a normal Data NFT, reviewing the bonding page and Setting the newly minted data NFT as our primary NFMe.id Vault.

  1. Navigate to the minting page

  2. Click on "Mint Data NFT" and go through the minting steps as mentioned here.

  3. Once the Dataset is minted, you will see it in addition to any previously minted NFMe.id Vaults or Data NFTs. This is viewable in the Bonding section. The newly minted Data NFT will affect the Combined liveleness and Combined Combined bonds Staked, and can be reviewed as below.

  4. Now we will look to set the newly minted Data NFT as our Primary NFMe.ID Vault Data NFT. We can then perform additional actions like Top-Up on it once set to primary. Click on the "Make this your Primary NFMe.ID"

  5. Once the transaction is complete, the Data NFT will be set as your primary, you can choose to Top-Up this Data NFT.

III. Claim rewards for Bonds Staked over a period of time.

In this section we will review the Rewards that have been accrued and actions to claim rewards. Once rewards are accumulated, you can either "Claim rewards" or "Reinvest rewards".

  1. Review the rewards accumulated. You can either "Claim rewards" or "Reinvest rewards"

    Scenario 1: Claiming rewards

    1. In the case you decide to "Claim Rewards": Note down your current Itheum balance and rewards accrued. After some time accruing rewards, click on Claim Rewards. Your ITHEUM balance should increase by the amount of rewards claimed. (The "Claim rewards" button enabled if rewards > 1)
    2. Note that if your liveliness is below 95% you will able to claim only a portion of your rewards

    OR

    Scenario 2: Reinvest rewards

    1. In the case you decide to "Reinvest Rewards": Note down your current “Combined Bonds Staked” and the Rewards Accrued. Click on Reinvest Rewards. The combined bond should be updated with the addition of the rewards. (The Reinvest rewards button enabled if rewards > 1)
    2. Note that if your liveliness is below 95% you will able to reinvest only a portion of your rewards
