When an app is defined as a "service" on io.manager, it does not work on the browser version. Please investigate and let us know the outcome.

For the context. the same service works on the Desktop version.

Best,
Pedro

Hi Pedro, could you, please, share some details about the function of the service application - is it auto-started to perform some initialization work?

Indeed, service apps are only available in io.Connect Desktop, but browser provides Plugins to run such initialization tasks.
Please, find the relevant documentation here : https://docs.interop.io/browser/capabilities/plugins/setup/index.html

Thank you!

Kind Regards,
Galin

@pedro-young-wedbush @bogdandinchev Hi Pedro, do you have any thoughts on using plugin instead of a service app?
We can build some small example if that would be helpful. Please, let us know.

Thanks,
Galin
