Add visual validation comparisons with sweeps of simulated site characteristics

In an earlier demo of potential validation outputs, sweeps of site characteristics were produced to compare against reference data where we didn't have enough information to perform site-matched simulations. This would be good to get into the validation project in later stages, since it allows for additional reference datasets to be included.
