Me personally, I think working on postgres backups CI pipeline steps is a better approach from an effort/benefit PoV than this, maybe. But maybe I am underestimating how hard it would be :D

A possibly better service for an existing architecture: https://github.com/eeshugerman/postgres-backup-s3. They key advantage is backed-in (out-of-the-box) upload of backups to storage place

Blocked until dalco stag is running on a separate cluster of machines
