Move some features to qgis Core ?

Hi,

This plugin looks really great. It appears that some features would be generic enough to be mutualized and better implemented in QGIS core.
The time management for example seems to be redundant with the time manager at least, and could probably be implemented directly in QGIS.

First step would probably be to identify which parts are generic and could be merged upstream and which parts would stay in the plugin.

Yes, we are aware of features like the Animator Extension that could be merged in some way with TimeManager.

We will work on it trying to classify the functionalities into generic ones and other that could be redundant.
